Everyone is trying to get cute with college basketball’s March Madness (including us — see attempt at amusing little headline above).
But the Washington Post has thrown together an event that is more than a play on arguably the year’s most competitive basketball tourney. Introducing Beer Madness. Where beer meets brackets.
In its sixth year, the Post’s Beer Madness features, “32 all-American craft brews in head-to-head matchups based on styles.”
If you missed its appropriate placement in the Arts & Living section, you can find it online here.
“Thirty-two all-American craft brews made the cut for this year’s taste-off. Follow our the results from our blind taste tests over the next several weeks to see which suds are crowned king of the cooler.”
We’re in. Are you?
They’re down to the final four this week. DC Brau is tops in the hop category. Tried that beer last weekend and really liked it.
Excited to see The Public make it’s way to the final rounds. We’ve been fans of D.C. Brau since they came out with their pumpkin proter: https://www.drinkinginamerica.com/epic-dc-braus-fermentation-without-representation/
Cheers,
