brangelinawineIt seems like there’s only one thing left to do in Hollywood these days…make your own wine. First Dave Matthews, then Fergie and now the power couple of the century are joining the ranks.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be releasing a new rosé in March named “Miraval.” Where does the name Miraval come from? It’s their 1,000-acre French chateau… duh. What, you don’t have a European estate? In addition to Miraval’s 35 bedrooms and moat, there’s a gorgeous vineyard, which Brangelina has decided to make use of and share with the general public.

Brad and Angie have joined together with Perrin, a well-respected winemaking family in Europe, and the label on the stout bottle will say “Bottled by Jolie-Pitt and Perrin.” Marc Perrin said about the new venture, “If you knew Brad and Angelina, you would see they are in search of perfection in everything. We talked a lot and did the first harvest together. They are very demanding in seeking excellence in the quality and character of their wine.”

The couple revamped the stainless steel tanks the nectar is aged in, so the rosé is said to have an intensely floral flavor with wild lily aromas and notes of strawberry and raspberry. They are also planning to release a line of organic white and red wines, with the white coming out by the end of the summer and the red by next year.

As members of Team Aniston, we were a little skeptical about this venture, but it seems like Brad and Angelina are really putting some thought into this. We also realized that if you have six children, you probably drink pretty frequently to preserve your sanity, so these two parents are undoubtedly seasoned drinkers who know what they’re doing.

Would you drink celebrity wine just for the name?
