For centuries, tequila has said, “celebration,” so it’s no wonder that more couples and wedding planners are incorporating it into the big day.
SurviveWeddingSeason.com recommends Avión Silver — and not just because it was allegedly poured at William and Kate’s wedding. “It’s smooth and not overpowering, perfect for afficionados and inquisitive tequila starters alike.”
The site adds that “a great way to save money when hosting a Bridal Shower, Bachelorette Party, Wedding or Engagement Party is to create a signature, event-specific cocktail — a growing wedding trend. If you cannot afford a full bar, a special libation is a sexy alternative. Look at having two drinks with two different liquors: one celebrating the bride and one honoring the groom.”
Tip: you get what you pay for with tequila. The really cheap stuff will taste downscale; a medium or higher-end brand will make a memorable, elegant impression.
