When I first heard the Skinnygirl spirit brand was launching a new line of cocktails to solve skin problems and aging, I thought to myself, surely you can’t be serious (insert Airplane joke here).
With help from Scott-Vincent Borba, maker of a skingestibles line of anti-aging food and drink, the Skinnygirl brand claims that each mixer promises a different facial remedy.
Watermelon Kiss with vodka is made to even out skin tone; and Sweet Enchantment, a combination of vodka, kumquats and special vitamins and minerals helps for oil glands in overdrive.
The suggested retail price of the new line is $22, which is $9 more than my anti-aging face cream. But then again, the cream won’t get me drunk.
