Labor day is upon us, and thus, we have reached the unofficial end of summer. No more white pants, no more summer Fridays, and alas, no more summery drinks. The days of frozen daiquiris and piña coladas will soon be behind us, so make sure to take advantage of the few hours you have left. To help you out, we’ve put together some seasonal food and drink combos that will let you say goodbye to summer in the least sad way possible. Or at least we can try.

Watermelon & sangria

Watermelon is (un)arguably the staple fruit of summer. So, scoop some for yourself, and sip on one of these equally delicious sangrias.

Corn on the cob & summer beers

In much the same way, corn (cob not optional) is the staple veggie of summer. And nothing feels better that washing down some salty, buttery corn with your favorite summer beer.

Lobster rolls & margaritas

Every once in a while, we treat ourselves to a lobster roll. Okay, maybe more than just every once in a while. In any case, we’ve discovered that a classic margarita is the perfect fit with this #fancy meal.

Barbecue & Kool-Aid Cocktails

Grilling tops our list of go-to activities in the summer. And nothing completes a barbecue like a sweet drink that ties the flavors together. It’s time to sip the Kool-Aid.

So, enjoy your Labor Day, bid summer ado, and drown your sorrows.
