Here are two things we’re excited about this season – Beefeater Winter Edition Gin and Harpoon’s 100 Barrel Series #35 Catamount Maple Wheat. They are winter in a bottle; everything we’re looking for on a snowy evening.
From what we’re told, Beefeater’s Winter Edition Gin has more citrus, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pine shoots. We’re also told it makes a banger cocktail when mixed with warm cider.
And as for Harpoon’s Catamount Maple Wheat, we heard it was just bottled on Friday, so you’ll have to find it and tell us what you think.
Yes, can’t wait to try the Beefeater Winter! I’m a big fan of their other releases like Summer and 24. I especially appreciate the subtlety — rather than flavored gins, they’re just gins with different botanicals. Here’s hoping the Winter is equally tasty.
