Catoctin Creek: This past weekend, we all took a moment to remember and honor those that have sacrificed so much in their service. In honor of recognizing our troops, for the next week Catoctin Creek products will now be available at the Army and Air Force Exchange service “Class Six” liquor store. If this demonstration at Fort Belvoir is successful, this may be the start to expanding these products to several other Class six stores throughout Virginia. The following products will be available to purchase:
- Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye, 80 Proof
- Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye, 92 Proof “Distiller’s Reserve”
- Catoctin Creek Watershed Gin
- Catoctin Creek 1757 Virginia Brandy
Stoneyard Distillery: Horchata is back and Colorado Stoneyard Distillery is making sure it’s here to stay. The delicious Mexican drink typically known for it’s rich flavor of almonds, cocoa, and coconut, will now include rum? Stoneyard’s upgrade to traditional Horchata has made it a drink parents will have to keep away from the kids. Lucky-Oh Horchata Specialty Spirit will be making its debut in locations across Colorado with later national distribution set to begin Summer 2016. The drink is available in 750 ml bottles with a retail price of $24. Not sure if this will be the drink of the summer, but we’ll have to try it first.
Bacardi Grapefruit: Just saying the words Grapefruit and Raspberry makes it feel like summer. The two flavors have now joined Bacardi’s other core summer flavors including Tangerine, Pineapple, and Mango. Bacardi Grapefruit is a white rum infused with pink grapefruit flavors, while Bacardi Raspberry is infused with citrus raspberry flavors. Both come in a variety of bottle sizes starting at 50ml to 1.75L. Want to know how to create the perfect cocktail using these drinks? Smart Beer: New York’s first organic beer company Smart Beer has now released a second beer to market; an Organic IPA. Keeping its active consumers in mind, the brand is committed to brewing only the purest beer to compliment their customer’s healthy and balanced lifestyles. The beer will now be available alongside the brand’s premier Organic Golden Ale in stores and bars all throughout New York City.
