im-on-the-gin-and-tonic-diet

“I’ll have a gin & tonic.” says the classiest betch in the room. It’s no surprise that we would have a worldwide holiday to celebrate the spirit of elegance. Thankfully no one chucks back a shot of gin as they would a shot of tequila or flavored vodka. Gin is only reserved for the best of glasses, two cubes, and ingredients as fresh and radiant as itself.  World Gin Day was founded in the UK in 2009 with the sole purpose of bringing friends together with a bottle of gin, now six years later it’s a global celebration and over here in the states we raise our glasses to celebrate!

Made from the juniper berry, gin has a distinct, crisp taste that is best accented with light citruses. Cheers to World Gin Day with these cocktails!
