Let’s be honest: the Super Bowl is about so much more than just football (especially when “your” team isn’t in the big game this year). If you’re hosting a Super Bowl party and your friends show up to no food or drinks, they’re going to hate you forever. Showing the game on a big screen TV is the easy part – you need to make sure your guests are well fed and always have an awesome drink in-hand. However, because we’re less than skilled in the kitchen, we’re going to focus our attention on some delicious beverages you can provide.

Whether you’re a die hard fan of the Broncos/Seahawks, or you’re just a die hard fan of drinking, it’s fun to have a little healthy competition with two different drinks. Serve these Broncos and Seahawks-themed cocktails and have your guests vote on the best one.

Bronco Bulldog

This Bronco Bulldog drink is easy to make and gives a nice jolt of caffeine, so your pals will definitely be hyped for the entire game.

Grab a rocks glass filled with ice and combine all of these ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Crater Lake Hazelnut Espresso Vodka
  • 1 oz. Cola
  • A splash of half and half
  • 2 oz. Crater Laker Vodka

Seahawk Slammer

The Seahawk Slammer has some fun with the Seahawks’ main colors and this is probably one of the only times you’ll see your friends drink a fancy looking “girly” cocktail.

  • Muddle 2 slices of lime and then add 1 1/4 oz. Absolut Pear Vodka, 1/2 oz. Bols Blue Curacao, 1 splash sour mix and garnish with a lime wedge.

More of a beer crowd? Grab some beers from Colorado’s New Belgium Brewing Co. and Seattle’s Red Hook Brewery.

Cheers to Super Bowl XLVIII.
