Happy Chinese New Year, drinking buddies! It wouldn’t be a holiday if we didn’t get unnecessarily sloshed in the middle of the week. In honor of 2015 being the year of the goat, we are giving you the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) Chinese New Year Cocktails. (Shoutout to Urban Dictionary keeping our Internet lingo on fleek).

These concoctions will turn your party up to 11 with a little Chinese flair. Just make sure you have plenty of tasty apps around so they don’t go to your head before the clock strikes midnight. Is that how Chinese New Year works? Whatever, let’s drink:

Ginger Fizz (makes 2):

2 tsp Grated Fresh Ginger

1 tsp Bitters

2 tbsp Lemon Juice

½ cup Dark Rum

1 ½ tbsp. Ginger Liquer

Sparkling Water

Lemon Wheels

Shake all ingredients except the sparkling water. Pour half into each glass, add ice and lemon wheels, fill with sparkling water.

Orange Blosson:

4 oz Orange Juice

2 oz Gin

¼ oz Gomme Syrup or Grenadine

Shake with ice and strain in a martini glass. Tastes like summer even though outside looks like a scene from Ice Age 2: The Meltdown.

The Jade:

½ oz Midori

½ oz Blue Curacao

½ oz Lime Juice

Dash of Bitters

Champagne

Shake all but champagne with ice, strain into champagne flute, top with the bubbly. Celebrate.
