The Rainbow Road Shot Challenge
This is no joke – a dedicated drinker and video game enthusiast created this 6 shot journey straight to hell as a tribute to Super Mario Bros. Each shot is named after a bad guy in the Mario universe and you start with the easiest (Goomba) and work your way all the way up to the baddest of them all, Bowser. Each shot also gets stronger and scarier, so best of luck not losing all your lives (and your lunch).
Kratos
This drink recipe comes from EXP Bar Online and we love how they rationalize that this drink perfectly embodies Kratos from God of War: “It’s pale, kicks ass from start to finish, and will leave you satisfied.” Say no more, friends. We’re all over this one. The full instructions are on their site, but here’s what you’re going to need to make the magic happen:
- 1 oz. vanilla rum
- 3/4 oz. strawberry rum
- 1/2 oz. amaretto
- Everclear
- Strawberry syrup
- Milk
Phoenix Down Shooter
The color of this shot is meant to mimic the color of the phoenix feather from Final Fantasy. It’s not going to make anyone return from the dead, but when you’re a delicious cocktail you don’t have to do crazy stuff like that. Just fill a shot glass with:
- 1 oz. tequila
- 1 oz. cointreau
- Fill it up with orange juice
- Top with grenadine
