It’s National Have Fun at Work Day and while it would be awesome if that were every day at work, sometimes the grind can wear you down. If you’re looking for a way to celebrate and hang out with your coworkers, we have some office-friendly drinking games to get you started.
Most Likely
Materials: coworkers, alcohol
This game is a great way to get to know what your coworkers think of you while drinking. Everyone gets in a circle and one player asks a “most likely” question—just like high school superlatives but more fun. For example: “Who would be the most likely to win the Hunger Games?” On the count of three, everyone points to the person they think is most likely. Take a sip for every person pointing at you.
Drunk Pictionary
Materials: coworkers, alcohol, paper and pens, a white board or flip chart
Very much like regular Pictionary but if you’re bad at drawing, you will be drinking. Players take turns being the artist and draw a word from a hat. One person will also serve as the timer for each round. If the question is answered, the artist has to take a drink for every 20 seconds that passed before their drawing was guessed. If no one can guess, the artist takes a shot.
If you’re lucky enough to have a ping-pong table (or other long table) and ping-pong balls, you can always play the classic beer pong and/or flip cup. So have some fun and get to know your coworkers today—just don’t end up with a lampshade on your head.
