BakerWilliamsThis whiskey shortage is getting out of control. Distillers are having trouble keeping up with demand and as a result we’re reaching for bottles on the shelf that aren’t there. Baker Williams Distillery is to the rescue with their “not quite whiskey” solution.

The distillery rolled out their new spirit, that’s not technically whiskey yet but with a little time in the barrel it will be. All you do is buy the new single malt spirit along with a two-liter American oak cask and take them home with you to age to the perfection.

Aging the whiskey at home puts the ball in your court. Legally, whiskey has to age two years but that’s not going to stop us from slugging a bit of it in the process. Every good distiller tastes his product before it’s done… at least that’s what we’re going with.
