“Gluten-free” has been in high demand across all foods, and that doesn’t stop with booze. Gluten is in grains like wheat, barley, and rye. People doing the gluten-free thing generally have celiac disease, which means gluten causes inflammation in their small intestines. Many of your favorite alcoholic beverages have gluten, so finding a drink that makes your insides feel happy can sometimes be tough.

Never fear. You can trust us to find alcohol brands that are gluten-free. You should be fine if you’re mixing your drink by yourself, but if you’re at a bar, keep an eye on the bartender to make sure they use the exact brand you told them to. A really busy bartender can accidentally pick up the wrong bottle.

• Ciroc Ultra Premium Vodka (grapes)
• Cold River Vodka (potato)
• Smirnoff Vodka (corn) Don’t drink the bottles of Smirnoff Ice, though – those are malt-based and not gluten-free.
• Dogfish Head Tweason’ Ale
• Green’s Beer
• Jose Cuervo
• Bacardi Rum
Hard Cider
• Skinnygirl Margaritas

There seem to be more and more options out there for people living a gluten-free lifestyle, so there’s no reason why you can’t still get your drink on. What are your favorite gluten-free options?
