While water is one of the best options, if not the best, there are still other great alternatives to rehydrate and take on the day. Composed of 92% water, watermelon is one of the most hydrating fruits you could consume to combat the heat. Now let’s pair that with a little alcohol and make summer heat a little more bearable.

Watermelon Sangria:

  • 4 c. cubed watermelon
  • 1 750-ml. bottle moscato
  • 1 c. rum
  • Juice of 4 limes
  • Zest of 2 limes
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • lime slices, for garnish

In a blender combine watermelon, moscato, rum, lime juice and zest, and sugar and blend until smooth. Refrigerate until chilled. Garnish glasses with lime slices and serve.
