We’re certain we’ve found the perfect end of summer cocktail to mix up this weekend. We’re making sure to cover all of our bases with a Captain Palmer recipe, keeping it light and summery with iced tea but adding a splash of spiced rum in preparation for the fall. A variation of one of our favorite classics the Arnold Palmer, the Captain Palmer still has two of our favorite key ingredients: iced tea and lemon. Only this time we’re replacing vodka (or gin) with Captain Morgan. If you want to join us you’ll need the following:
3 ounces brewed tea
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey (or agave nectar)
2 ounces Captain Morgan Spiced Rum
Combine the tea, honey, rum and lemon juice. Shake and pour over ice. Add the lemon for garnish and fire up the grill while you still can.
