Summer is officially two, short months away. And the perfect beer for summer? Corona Extra. Obviously. Even their VP of marketing knows: “When you think of summer, you think Corona. Popping off the cap and dropping in a lime, instantly transports you to that care-free-state-of-mind no matter where you are. No one does summer like Corona, and we think this is the perfect way to capture the essence of what the brand means to our consumers.”

Beer / April 17, 2017 / No Comments.

Despite the fact that we’re all more alike than we’d like to admit, we get a surreal amount of gratification when we think we’re part of something the majority of our constituents aren’t. It makes us cool, different, unique and totally alternative. It could be the music we listen to, our taste in television, our style, lifestyle choices, etc. It can even come down to, and you guessed it, the type of alcohol we drink. It’s from our desire for individuality that craft beers were born from.

Well, it’s official. Dreams really do come true.

“Beereal” (cereal + beer) is a THING. And a lot of breweries are jumping on the bandwagon. Seasonal beers are great.

Picture yourself at a summer barbecue — you’re washing down grilled meats with a refreshing kolsch or fruit beer. In the fall, you’re tailgating with an Oktoberfest or pumpkin brew. A few months later, you toast the holidays with spiced winter warmers and stouts as dark as a December night.

Beer & Girl Scout Cookies

Beer / March 1, 2017 / No Comments.

On my honor, I will try, to pair beer with my Girl Scout cookies.

The girl scots promote compassion, courage, confidence, and cookies.

If you missed the boat, or the parents of you office make their kids actually sell the cookies themselves, you can still order them here).
