Do you ever find yourself bored with your go-to booze? When you’ve grown tired of that mundane drink order, we’ll be here to talk you through what’s new and noteworthy this week:

Jose Cuervo
It looks like the tequila giant has its sights set on public investors. Word on the street is that the brand is seriously exploring the possibility of an IPO, having started talks with several Mexican banks. After an unsuccessful buyout attempt by Diageo in 2012, it’s about time that the company goes public. They control roughly one third of the blue agave beverage market, and had earnings of $575 million in the first three quarters of 2015.

Zipwhip
This texting service provider just got a whole lot cooler. Zipwhip has been working on a killer side project called the Texterator, and it’s about to revolutionize the role of the bartender. Here’s how it works: you can text “beer” to the Texterator’s phone number, and the robot will pour you a cup of beer. Then, using a built-in laser, it’ll etch the last four digits of your phone number on the side of the cup, and send you a text message letting you know that your cup is ready. SO, not only does this machine pour beer by itself, but it also eliminates lines. Yay technology!!

Gin Tales
If you’re even the smallest bit of a purest, it’s likely that you’re sick and tired of your spirtis being diluted by sugar, syrups, and other artificial flavors. Well, so are the folks over at Gin Tales, a UK based gin brand. So, these righteous people they set out to create pure gins infused with only natural flavors, and their latest one, Hot Cross Gin, may be the most impressive yet. Infused with citrus, sultanas, and Easter spices, this spirit will take you right back to grandma’s house.

Wine, wine, wine
Do you have an extra $10 or $15 million lying around? Yes!?!? Well then, listen up. Billionaire and wine-collector extraordinaire, William Koch, will be putting half of his collection up for auction on May 19th. That’s a whopping 20,000 bottles of wine! The collection will be split up into roughly 2,700 lots, in which 120 are from Chateau Latour, and 80 are from Chateau Mouton Rothschild (aka they’re really fancy shmancy collections). So clear out some space in your basement and happy bidding!
