Whether we like to admit it or not, everyone enjoys a good love story. In our case, our favorite love stories revolve around men and the booze they’ve dedicated their lives to. The second their lips touch the rim of the glass, you can see the sheer admiration and total, unadulterated bliss in their eyes.

There are so many great love stories that have played out on the silver screen, but here are three of our favorites.

The Dude and the White Russian
Look at The Dude’s face in this picture. He is so in love. Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski basically single-handedly brought the White Russian back in style with the 1998 film “The Big Lebowski.” He even had his own pet name for his favorite beverage: the Caucasian.

Ron Burgundy and Scotch (Scotchy, scotch, scotch)
In 2004’s “Anchorman,” Ron Burgundy loves scotch so much that he sings about it while he drinks it. If that’s not true love, we don’t know what is. Ron cheats on his beloved scotch at one point in the movie when he drinks milk on a hot day, but we believe Ron summarized his brief lapse in judgment best when he said “Milk was a bad choice.”

Miles Raymond and Pinot Noir
This romance from the 2004 film “Sideways” is a really classy kind of love. Miles is the type of guy that can appreciate the little nuances of each glass of wine, but he sees something extra special in Pinot Noir. He knows that Pinot Noir “needs constant care and attention” and when his pal Jack asks why Pinot Noir is white, Miles sticks up for his love and tells Jack not to ask questions like that. What a guy.

There have been so many great love stories in Hollywood that we couldn’t possibly list them all. Is there one we didn’t mention that is your favorite?
