We’re not the type of people who need a reason to drink. If we’re breathing that’s reason enough. But for those who need more, here you go:
Batman v. Superman: The hopeful blockbuster hits screens this weekend no matter how many critics object to its existence. If nothing else, it should make for a great drinking game once it eventually hits cable.
March Madness: The Sweet Sixteen games continue into the weekend. Consider yourself lucky if your bracket is already busted. Now you can actually enjoy the crazy endings and maybe snag some free beers from the guys who think they still have a chance at winning the pot.
Easter: This Sunday is all about family and pretending you go to church. If you aren’t religious, you can still snack on the Cadbury Eggs and Peeps until you’re sick enough to call out of work the next day.
RGIII: Speaking of rising from the dead, the chronically injured QB signed to Cleveland this week. It’s a risky move that could turn the franchise into a somewhat viable sports team. Of course, it could also be an experiment as to what happens when you add more trash to a raging dumpster fire. Plenty of time for Browns fans to lower their expectations before fall.
Garry Shandling: The comedy legend and all-around great guy passed away this Thursday. It shook the comedy world and sparked the sharing of everyone’s favorite Garry jokes. Pour one out for our guy this weekend while you marathon every episode of The Larry Sanders Show. We’ll miss you, Garry.
