We’re not the type of people who need a reason to drink. If we’re breathing, that’s reason enough. But for those who need more, here you go:
Gadhafi – The details and speculation around late Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi‘s death are hazy. No one knows for sure who gets the credit, but we’re not to worried about that, we’re just drinking to freedom.
End of the world – According to old man Camping the world is supposed to end today. Well, we’ve made it to 5:00 unscathed so lets cross our fingers and hope we make it 7 more hours. If it ends when you’re at the bar tonight, at least you’ll go the right way…with a drink in your hand.
World Series – We’re tied up going into games 3 and 4 of the 2011 World Series this weekend. A big cheers to the Cardinals and Rangers, and to all the fans whose baseball teams are now golfing.
Budweiser Event Center- The BEC is serving beer this weekend from the bottoms up. No spillage, less foam & it takes longer to pay than it does to fill up your cup (we covered this before, here). It’s a win/win for everyone. Cheers & bottoms up.
Dog CPR– This week a Wisconsin firefighter gave a golden retriever mouth-to-mouth resuscitation after rescuing him from a burning house. Cheers to saving mans best friend.
