Regardless of if you’re single or going steady with a significant other, Valentine’s Day is a time for all things love. For some, this may mean a long snowy stroll, hand in hand with a Valentine. However for others, this “love” is spent on oneself—what other day makes it socially acceptable to devour an entire heart-shaped box of chocolates? For us, that’s an average day at the desk. Still, whether you’re sharing with that special someone or double fisting to your face, you’ll undoubtedly develop a crush on these love-themed cocktails.

Raspberry Moscato Cocktail (serves 2)

  •  ¾ cup dry ginger ale
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries
  • ½ packet of sugar (or any sweetener)
  • 1 cup pink Moscato
  • heart-shaped ice cubes (you’ll need a tray like THIS)

First, make your heart-shaped ice cubes. In a blender, combine ginger ale, raspberries and sugar. Place a few regular ice cubes into each glass and add the raspberry mixture (half per glass), then top with pink Moscato. Add a raspberry for garnish and put your heart-shaped ice cubes on top.

Sangria Swirled Frozen Margarita (serves 2)

(for sangria)

  • 1 cup red wine, frozen in ice cube tray
  • 2 tbsp. triple sec
  • 1 tbsp. lime juice
  • juice of half an orange

(for margarita)

  • 6 oz. frozen limeade concentrate
  • 2 shots tequila
  • 1 shot triple sec
  • 1 cup ice

First, rim the edges of two margarita glasses with sugar or salt. Next, puree the frozen red wine with the triple sec, lime juice and orange juice. Pour into a small glass and set aside. Add the limeade concentrate (not defrosted), tequila, triple sec and ice into a blender. Puree until slushy. Pour the margarita mixture into each glass and then swirl in the sangria mixture.

White Flower Martini (serves 2)

  • ½ oz. Elderflower Cordial
  • 1 oz. vodka (we suggest a raspberry flavor)
  • ½ oz. Limoncello
  • 1.5 oz. Lychee juice

In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, add all ingredients and shake until liquid is cold. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a floating rose petal.

 Grapefruit Sage Mimosa (serves 2)

  • Champagne
  • Grapefruit juice
  • Sage leaves

Fill two glasses half way with champagne. Top off with the grapefruit juice and garnish with a few sage leaves or a grapefruit wedge.

Blackberry and Lemon Gin and Tonic (serves 2)

  • 6 blackberries
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/8 cup simple syrup
  • 6 oz. gin
  • tonic water
  • ice

Put 3 blackberries, 5 mint leaves, juice of ½ the lemon and 1 tablespoon of simple syrup in each glass. Muddle everything together. Fill each glass with ice, then pour in 3 ounces of gin and top off with tonic water. Stir and serve.

Enjoy & have a booze-filled Valentine’s Day!
