Cheers To Those Who Go The Extra Mile: These Drinks Are For You

Cocktails / September 20, 2017 / No Comments.

We’re living during a time where the phrase, “Do it yourself,” is quite literally becoming a live-by motto. And this isn’t a bad thing! More and more, people are embracing making their dreams a reality based solely on their own merit. They’re original, tenacious, go-getters, hard working, and unapologetically confident individuals. It’s time we celebrate those who go the extra mile all year round (even if you might not be one of them).

Using one drummer’s story, New Amsterdam has begun celebrating the journey to greatness in its latest campaign “Pour Your Soul Out.” This campaign shows that this brand is more than its products. It’s a brand that values its consumers, understands its audience, and aims to encourage and uplift them. This role is not essential or necessary for a vodka and gin company to take on, but in doing so New Amsterdam expresses their authenticity and dedication to being a cultural influencer. Pour one out for those who pour their souls out with these original New Amsterdam cocktails. Cheers to those who go all in!

Booze News Weekly / April 8, 2015 / No Comments.

CZ_LemonadeDo you ever find yourself getting bored with your go-to booze? When you’ve grown tired of that mundane drink order, we’ll be here to walk you through what’s new and noteworthy this week:

Get S.M.A.S.H.ed: Portland Brewing Company’s single hop, single malt pale ale is on shelves and ready for summer. S.M.A.S.H. Pale Ale is the ideal thirst-quencher for the future warmer months; with every sip you’ll find yourself satisfied by the simplicity of this new brew.

New Amsterdam Mango: Made from the finest grains in the country, New Amsterdam’s latest summer vodka flavor is bound to be a hit. After being distilled five times (for “unparalleled smoothness”), juicy Alphonso Mango is added to create a tropical twist that’s light and refreshing.

Cruzan Rum Blueberry Lemonade: Combining ripe bloobs and tangy citrus, Cruzan rum recently released this vibrant booze complete with the taste of fresh fruit. The company claims their new flavor will fix up any drink, making it a staple for this upcoming summer.

Even Peachier: Peach appears to be the new release flavor of the month, as yet another liquor leader (this time Evan Williams) announced the arrival of a new Peach flavored bourbon. Williams claims the smooth addition can be enjoyed as a chilled shooter or in a cocktail. Either way, this bourbon is true to its tagline: “No Fuzz. All Flavor.”

Mike’s Palm Breeze: Labeled a “sparkling alcohol spritz,” Mike’s Hard Lemonade’s Palm Breeze brand is targeted toward millennial woman. The new line of tropically flavored malt beverages comes in two flavors, Ruby Red Citrus and Pineapple Mandarin Orange, and both are sure to make you feel like you’re sitting on the sand.

Summer Honey Cider: Angry Orchard is on a roll with their spring/summer seasonal selections, especially considering their most recent release, Angry Orchard Summer Honey. Available through August, the brew is made with several types of American culinary apples and is the perfect pair for all summer dishes (i.e. seafood, BBQ, and salads, if you’re into that kind of thing).
