On any of the upcoming scorching August days, we’d like nothing more than to be sitting on a beach and sipping a chilled, fizzy drink to cool off. Sounds a little like paradise, are we right? Well the best part is, regardless of your flavor preference, you can make a sparkling wine cocktail to fulfill any craving. So satisfy those taste buds and scan our recipe list of the summer’s best sparkling wine concoctions:

The Lone Ranger: (1 serving)

  • 1.5 oz. silver tequila
  • 1 oz. lemon juice
  • ½ oz. simple syrup
  • 2 oz. rose sparkling wine
  • lemon twist (for garnish)

In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, mix the tequila, lemon juice and simple syrup. Then add the sparkling wine (don’t shake) and strain into a large ice-filled glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Blood Orange-Rosemary Fizz: (1 serving)

  • Ice
  • 2 oz. fresh blood-orange or pink grapefruit juice
  • ½ oz. Campari
  • ½ oz. rosemary simple syrup
  • 2 oz. Prosecco
  • 1 blood-orange wheel (for garnish)
  • 1 rosemary sprig (for garnish)

In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, mix together blood-orange/pink grapefruit juice, Campari and rosemary simple syrup. Shake well and strain into a champagne flute. Top with Prosecco and garnish with blood-orange wheel and rosemary sprig.

Vanilla Peach Champagne Punch: (makes about a pitcher)

  • 4 peaches with pits removed
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ½ cup peach nectar
  • 1 bottle of champagne

Pulse all ingredients (except the champagne) together in a blender. Mix in the champagne and pour concoction in a glass filled with ice.
