It’s almost impossible to believe that people couldn’t legally drink beer in this country at one point. We know we wouldn’t have made it but today we’re celebrating like we lived through the Prohibition. Luckily on April 7, 1933, President Franklin D. Roosevelt repealed the Volstead Act, legalizing beer as long as it was under 3.2% ABV.
So cheers to beer and thanks to FDR for bringing it back to us. We don’t know what we’d do without it.
