Parker Beam fund

Kentucky’s renowned bourbon distillers are coming together to honor one of their own. Parker Beam, the longtime master distiller at Heaven Hill Distilleries, was diagnosed with ALS in 2012 and now his peers are blending a bourbon to show their support.

The special blend consists of bourbon samplings from Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, Wild Turkey and Woodford Reserve.  Master distillers selected their own extra-aged bourbons and Beam developed the final 100-proof concoction.

Master Distillers’ Unity will be auctioned at the Bonham’s Whisky, Cognac and Rare Spirits auction in New York City on October 13. All proceeds will benefit the Parker Beam Promise of Hope Fund and the winning bidder will get two bottles of the special blend. The only other people lucky enough to taste will be attendees of the special tribute to Parker Beam at WhiskyFest New York on October 12, the night before the auction. Get your tickets now. We can’t deny drinking for a good cause and guaranteed amazing bourbon.
