As it currently stands, 29 states and the District of Columbia have legalized the use of marijuana in some form or another. Eight of those states have given the thumbs up for the recreational use, with Massachusetts, California and Nevada being the most recent. With all this in mind, it seems that the country is starting to relax its stance on pot, however one city is becoming even more ~chill~.

Denver, CO voters recently approved Proposition 300, a first-in-the-nation law allowing bars and restaurants to let patrons use marijuana alongside a meal or cocktail. That’s right, pretty soon you may be able to light up with a burger and a beer in the mile high city.

There is just one catch- interested bars and restaurants needs to first get the approval of their neighbors. That might seem like a substantial caveat, but we’re sure it won’t be a problem in the nation’s more pot-firendly state.
