Bourbon is great. It has a warm smell, it tastes like fire, and it instantly gave you chest hair after your first sip. So why restrict it to living life in a glass?

Meet Bourbon Barrel Pure Maple Syrup. Now you can have bourbon for breakfast without your friends calling for an intervention. It’s aged in casks that are nearly 20 years old to add notes of honey, oak, vanilla, and spice on top of your pancakes. Sorry, Aunt Jemima, but your reign had to come to an end at some point. Who better to overthrow you than a bourbon-soaked bottle of the sweet stuff?

Then we have the less expected bourbon adopter. Noble Denim teamed with Bulleit Burbon last year to make “Barrel Aged Jeans“. Fifty pairs of jeans were soaked in freshly dumped bourbon barrels and removed just in time for the holidays. The result was a honey brown shade of denim with a scent that rivaled that of your drunk uncle’s favorite t-shirt. The denim company liked what they made, so they’re keeping the small batch projects going.

Next time you’re in the mood for some bourbon after work, think beyond the glass.
