Christmas is tomorrow, and you need to grab a few last minute stocking stuffers before Santa feeds his reindeer their pre-game snack.

But what do you get? Here’s your Christmas Eve Stocking Stuffer Playbook:

Keep it simple.

Now is not the time for personal gifts. People like food. People like alcohol. You can’t go wrong if you keep those basic human needs in mind.

Keep it small.

Whether it’s a collection of nips or a gift card to CVS, your small offering will be welcome with open arms. Bigger isn’t always better, unless you’re buying a bottle of alcohol in which case you can ignore this piece of advice. If the bottle is big enough, they’ll be more likely to share.

Shop with a purpose.

You don’t have time to browse or compare prices. You lost that privilege when you waited until December 24th to buy your gifts. Get in, get out, get home to drink a beer. Go to stores that you know have what you’re looking for. One stop shopping is a must.

With any luck, your loved ones won’t realize that their presents still have that fresh-from-the-store smell on them.
