Jolly Pumpkin Brewery is bringing back the sourpuss pout for all of us who loved sour candies as kid. To align with their on going “April Showers Bring Jolly Pumpkin Sours Campaign” the brew masters over in Dexter, MI are gearing up to release two new beers this month, Rojzilla and La Roja du Kriek, both of which are Sour Ales.

Unique to the brewing industry, Jolly Pumpkin, was able to achieve the impossible by finding just the right amount of sour without overpowering the complex flavor of the brews. Rojzilla is a Michigan Sour Biere coming in strong at 7.4% ABV with “a complex mellifluous blend of flavor and sophistication.” La Roja, on the other hand, is comprised of the combination of tart Michigan cherry juice and Jolly Pumpkin’s Sour Ale, resulting a perfect, unique blend of 7.5% ABV.

The two limited edition brews will be available in 34 states, and of course, at the four Michigan locations. We can’t wait to pucker up and enjoy both brews on a warm summer day! Learn more about Jolly Pumpkin here!
