We’ve had booze from all over. Beer made right here in the U.S.A, rum from the Caribbean, wine from New Zealand and now vodka from Israel. Our latest tasting featured the beautiful (no really the bottle is insanely cool) AVIV 613 Vodka that came to us all the way from the other side of the world.
AVIV 613 is all about enjoying life, a message that we’re completely on board with especially when there’s vodka involved. The tall triangular prism shaped bottle is covered completely with characters and messages reminding you to live life to its fullest. A life lesson before you even take a sip.
Distilled from figs, dates, grapes and pomegranates among other ingredients, AVIV 613 has a slightly fruity but very refreshing flavor that most vodkas don’t bring to the table. We sipped it on the rocks first to get the full flavor experience and were definitely pleased. With only a slight burn in the finish, AVIV 613 was a nice balance of that vodka taste we love and a fruity, earthy flavor that hit the spot.
After enjoying it straight, we mixed up a few cocktails to see how AVIV 613 really shined. The vodka was delicious when added to fruity mixers and we can only imagine that cocktail capabilities it has. We’re imagining a delicious Cosmopolitan or vodka Gimlet. Whatever you make, AVIV 613 will make it delicious.
