Smirnoff has gifted us with some pretty funky vodka flavors over the years. We’ve seen it all; from flavors like cinnamon churros and fluffed marshmallows to wild honey and kissed caramel, we thought Smirnoff couldn’t possibly come up with another flavor to their repertoire. Nonetheless, Diageo has just announced their launch of Smirnoff Sourced: a group of three new flavors to Smirnoff’s line that are made with REAL fruit.
We know that “real” and “natural” on labels aren’t the most reliable indications that your drink doesn’t have a bunch of chemicals in it these days, but this is no lie. Smirnoff sourced is infused with real fruit juice, contains no high fructose corn syrup, and is gluten free, mmm healthy and alcoholic!
The three new flavors are Ruby Red Grapefruit, Cranberry Apple, and Pineapple. These aren’t as wild as fluffed marshmallows, but they are just as delicious. Smirnoff Grapefruit is intensely citrusy and very refreshing. It has a powerful grapefruit flavor with a touch of sweetness, and it goes wonderfully with a splash of cranberry juice and lemon lime soda. Smirnoff Cranberry Apple takes the classic vodka cranberry and adds a little twist. If you don’t want a flavor that is too sweet, try this one. You can mix this up with some Gingerale or create a super fruity Screwdriver by just adding some orange juice. Lastly, there’s Smirnoff Pineapple. This is always a good flavor if you want to spice up your liquor cabinet and impress your guests. You can just add some orange juice or some soda, or mix it with a drop of amaretto and down it as a shot.
So, if you love fruity flavors try Smirnoff Sourced. These smooth, zesty vodkas will leave you refreshed and invigorated and very informed about the ingredients in your drink.
