The temperature has officially dropped to that bone chilling degree and we’re looking for any way to warm up. Sometimes a sweater and scarf isn’t going to cut it so we’re looking to our cocktails for some warmth. There’s nothing like a hot cider this time of year and we’ll be spiking ours and adding a little butterscotch surprise all weekend long. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1.5 cups apple cider
- 1.5 oz. spiced rum
- 1 oz. DeKuyper Buttershots (Butterscotch Schnapps)
- Cinnamon
- Apple slice
Heat cider until it just reaches a boil. Transfer to heat safe mug and add spiced rum and the butterscotch schnapps. Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top and garnish with an apple slice. Sip, enjoy and warm up.
