For all those refusing to accept the inevitable it’s time to put away the frozen daiquiris and warm up your winter nights. What could be more fun than adding booze to a winter classic like hot chocolate? Our favorite recipe contains tequila and peppermint schnapps with a whipped cream top. It only takes ten minutes to make and delivers an icy-hot punch that will take your hot chocolate to the next level.  Here’s what you’ll need in addition to your favorite hot chocolate:

 

1 oz. Tequila

½ oz. Peppermint Schnapps

Whipped Cream

Mint Leaf Garnish

 

After heating the hot chocolate, add tequila and Peppermint Schnapps and serve immediately. Top this off with whipped cream and mint leaf garnish. Sip and enjoy, you’re welcome.
