Whether you’re toasting victory or numbing the pain, mix up the following, put on your favorite episode of The West Wing, House of Cards, or Scandal and enjoy!
The “Washington” Cocktail
• 1 ½ oz dry vermouth
• ¾ oz brandy
• 2 dashes simple syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add vermouth, brandy, syrup and bitters. Stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Bottoms up!
