Game of Thrones released a wine line. Thanks to the partnership between the HBO show and the Santa Rosa Winery Vintage Win Estates, consumers can choose between three options: “proprietary red blend” for $19.99, Cabernet Sauvignon for $39.99, and a classic chardonnay for $19.99. HBO’s directer of licensing and retail said this seemed like a natural extension of the show and a great way to enhance the consumer experience. We’ll take a case of each please.

Cronut’s creator made a ramen-like holiday treat with Baileys. Ramen is popular during the holiday season, a cheap yummy way to stay warm. Still, Damonique Ansel, who created Cronut, decided to make it even more popular. He created a bread pudding version of the noodles soaked in Baileys Original Irish Cream topped with passion fruit “egg” and a coconut marshmallow “fish cake.” The treat will be available for delivery in New York from December 8th through the 11th. Don’t knock it until you try it!

Alcohol consumption in England went up by a third since the 1980s. The group that experienced the most growth was women (girls want to have fun too). Despite being a reflection of a global surge, the British are not reacting well to it and want minimum prices for alcohol as well as stricter rules on marketing. The government says it wants to act upon it but doesn’t want to interfere with adult’s right to drink responsibly. What’s our opinion? If they want to drink, let ’em drink.
