Do you ever find yourself getting bored with your go-to booze? When you’ve grown tired of that mundane drink order, we’ll be here to walk you through what’s new and noteworthy this week:

Kachka: This Portland, OR restaurant, voted 2015’s Rising Star, is known for its infused vodkas. Many regulars rave about the strawberry variety, but it’s another flavor that’ll soon be filling bottles – horseradish. Apparently, this is a common choice in Russia for Vodka infusions, so Kachka has decided to add it to their new Troika Spirits label. We can’t wait to give it a try!

Drake: Champagne Papi may be no more. Over the weekend, rapper Drake Instagram-announced the launch of this very own spirit label: Virginia Black Whiskey. And that’s pretty much all we know. He captioned the ‘gram, “After that legendary moment what else is there to do but celebrate with class. Virginia Black coming soon…

Soltado: Things are definitely heating up around here. The US will soon be host to its first infused anejo tequila straight out of Mexico. Soltado Tequila Serrano and Cinnamon Anejo is a small batch, hand-crafted tequila distilled in Jalisco, Mexico. It’s naturally infused 100% blue agave anejo tequila that’s filtered TEN TIMES for quality. When you get your hands on a bottle, remember that it’ll substitute well in cocktails for whiskey, scotch, and bourbon.

Little Traverse Inn: What does one do when he or she needs to drum up business in an inn? Well, some people spark a civil war (sort of). That’s exactly what the Little Traverse Inn did, but with beer involved. In a few weeks, they’ll announce the winner of the second annual Michigan Civil Beer War. This “war” attracts breweries from near and far to compete in the months long blind taste testing events. This’ll be the March Madness we’ll pay attention to!
