Do you ever find yourself getting bored with your go-to booze? When you’ve grown tired of that mundane drink order, we’ll be here to walk you through what’s new and noteworthy this week:
FX Matt Brewing Co.—Jed’s Hard
FX Matt Brewing Co. is combining two of the things they do exceptionally well: brewing alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Brewer of Saranac soft drinks, FX Matt Brewing Co. is bringing Jed back this November, except they are adding a bit of alcohol for those root beer lovers that want an extra kick. The flavors include orange cream, root beer, and black cherry cream. Each flavor was inspired by the award-winning 1888 Saranac soft drink line, so you know your alcohol will be mixed with some premium quality soda.
Timberlane LLC—Arkansas Black Straight Applejack
Northern California’s Timberlane LLC is releasing a new and very limited Twenty-One Year Straight Applejack this season. Made from Arkansas Black Apples, this long-aged bottle is a deliciously crisp apple brandy. This 92-proof California applejack will be distributed through Southern Wine and Spirits’ Artisanal Group all around California, but only a mere 600 cases will be released. So, make sure to get there first because this is the perfect warming drink for the fall and winter seasons.
Patron en Lalique: Serie 1
Patron has partnered with French crystal specialist Lalique in order to create a limited edition crystal decanter filled with extra añejo tequila: the Patrón en Lalilque: Serie 1. With a distinct amber color and flavors of sweet caramel, honey, and vanilla, this rare bottle also comes with its own handmade leather display case decorated with gemstones. Just as you thought, this exceptional Patrón edition isn’t for everyone, mostly due to its lovely price tag of $5600. But those who buy it will certainly get their money’s worth. The release is very limited to only 500 bottles, so start saving now!
Pearl Vodka—Chocolate Hazelnut
Pearl Vodka is introducing a nutty new flavor for their vodkas: chocolate hazelnut. In honor of the fall and winter season, Pearl Vodka wanted to offer their consumers with a new way to mix up the holiday season. Bottled at 70-proof, this chocolate-lover’s dream will be available for a limited time across the U.S. So, hit the vodka section at the liquor store and whip up your own one-of-a-kind seasonal cocktail that will taste like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas all in one.
Portobello Road—Asparagus-Flavored Gin
We’ve mixed spirits with chocolate, pumpkins, and cannabis, so why not add a little asparagus in the mix? The craft gin distillery Portobello Road has launched their newest blend of the world’s first asparagus-flavored gin. They have been experimenting with some unusual fruits and vegetables recently, but master blender, Jake Burger, makes this infusion taste completely natural. Portobello Gin director, Paul Lane, said, “This is not a gin for everybody, but those who like it love it. And before you ask, no it doesn’t…”
