Second-Self-Summer-IPA1

Do you ever find yourself getting bored with your go-to booze? When you’ve grown tired of that mundane drink order, we’ll be here to walk you through what’s new and noteworthy this week:

Second Self Beer Co.: Atlanta based brewery, Second Self Beer Co., is gearing up to embrace the summer heat and introducing four new refreshing craft beers. Their Summer IPA, Christmas In July, Gose, and Smoke IPA will debut over the coarse of the next two months, and as a matter of fact the Summer IPA hit the market this past Monday. All four beers are intended to cool you down on a hot day, whether you’re sipping on the beach or grilling up some burgers and dogs on the BBQ.

Del’s Shandy Black Cherry : There are few things New Englanders rank above Del’s Shandy on their summertime staple list. Narrangansett brewery, Del’s counterpart in the collaboration, announced this week how excited they are to release their newest addition to the line up, Del’s Black Cherry Shandy. The brew is said to have a sweet, yet tart flavor and will hit shelves just in time for beachgoers to grab a six pack before this weekend!

IronRoot Republic: Texas does it big, and IronRoot Republic isn’t releasing just one but 2 new premium brands this month, giving us two new options to look out for with Blue Norther Vodka and Carpenter’s Bluff Moonshine. Up in Northern Texas the founders of IronRoot Republic pride themselves on their spirits made from local, non-GMO ingredients. 90% of the ingredients used to make the vodka and moonshine are sourced within a 60-mile radius, so be on the lookout for both Texan spirits this summer.

Rebel Yell American Whiskey: The folks over at Rebel Yell have found a way to stick with tradition while also adapting to modern tastes. Americans are looking for a Bourbon flavor with higher whiskey proof, and Rebel Yell is ready to give it to them with their American Whiskey which combines 50% of Rebel Yell’s original Kentucky Bourbon with 50% straight rye. The combo appeals to both the bourbon and whiskey drinkers of the world, giving them the smooth taste of wheated bourbon paired with the spice of rye!

Sauza Cucumber Chili Tequila: Sauza is taking a leap of faith this week and revealing it’s very first flavored tequila. We aren’t so sure it’s best for shooting with salt and a lime, however the flavors are said to make a mean slightly spicy but refreshing margarita. Why sip on your tradition marg when you can spice it up this summer with Sauza Cucumber Chili, at $15.99 per bottle what do you have to loose?
