These days it seems like everyone is trying to go green, so what better way to join in the movement then to drink eco-friendly beer? The folks over at Bamboo Beer Limited have you covered, with their Bamboo Beer that just got released at the end of July.
Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing and most economical plants as it has over 1,500 uses. These include cooking, building material, medicine, and most recently (our favorite) as an ingredient in beer. The brewers at Bamboo Beer use the slogan “Beer with Benefits,” because not only does growing bamboo allow for a refreshing brew, but also greatly helps to reduce CO2 emissions.
The bamboo is being grown in Canada (who knew), where the beer was successfully launched on July 13th. As Bamboo Beer expands out of The Great White North, the brewers hope that focus on sustainability will give them an edge and allow them to be competitive in the global beer market.
