We’re not the type of people who need a reason to drink. If we’re breathing that’s reason enough. But for those of you who need more, here you go:

- NFL Playoffs: Four teams meet for the chance to play in the Super Bowl this Sunday. Win or lose, grab a beer.
- Oscar Nominations: Could this finally be Leo’s year? We’re rooting for the Wolf of Wall Street star and all of our other favorites with a drink in hand.
- Australian Open: The grand slam tennis tournament was temporarily put on hold due to temps over 100 degrees. We would have called it off and grabbed a six-pack.
- Birthdays: All these celebs were born today: Betty White, Michelle Obama, Muhammad Ali, Benjamin Franklin, Al Capone, Zooey Deschanel, Dwayne Wade and Jim Carrey. Cheers to them.
