Craft Brew Alliance (CBA) has unveiled Omission, a gluten-free beer brand launching this spring. Made with traditional beer ingredients — including malted barley, hops, water and yeast — the new brew uses a proprietary process to reduce gluten levels below the Internationally recognized gluten-free standard.

Omission, brewed at CBA’s Widmer Brothers Brewing facility in Portland, Oregon, rolled out in Oregon April 2.

We’re sure this is a good idea for the growing number of gluten-adverse/allergic adults. But Omission? We are having a near-allergic reaction to the name. Anyone?
