Lucky for you we’ve rounded up some great large batch cocktail recipes that are sure to make any summer occasion a hit.

Sparkling Grapefruit Sangria
Sangria is always a crowd pleaser and this grapefruit concoction is a refreshing twist on a classic. Serves 4-6.

Ingredients:

  • 1 750 mL bottle Riesling
  • 1 750 mL bottle prosecco or other dry champagne
  • 1 cup grapefruit juice
  • ½ cup simple syrup
  • ½ cup club soda
  • 1½ cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 grapefruit cut into chunks or slices

Directions: Place fruit in a large pitcher, then combine remaining ingredients and pour on top. Refrigerate for an hour or so before serving to let the flavors mix. Recipe found via How Sweet It Is.

Strawberry Basil Margaritas
Margaritas and summer shindigs go together like chips and salsa, jazz up this limeade-based recipe with fresh basil and strawberries. Serves about 8.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (12 oz) frozen limeade concentrate
  • 10 to 12 strawberries
  • 8 basil leaves
  • 2 to 2 ½ cups of your favorite tequila

Directions: Pour the limeade concentrate into the pitcher and add 2 ½ cans of water and tequila. Hull and slice the strawberries and crumple the basil leaves slightly to release the flavor and add both to the limeade-tequila mixture. Refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4 hours). Seaside Sunrise
Even if there’s no water in sight, you can still enjoy this tropical concoction. It’s also perfect for festivities that start before noon. Serves 11.

 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 cups orange-mango juice
  • 2 cups passion fruit flavored rum
  • 1 cup cranberry juice cocktail
  • 2 tablespoons grenadine
  • 1 (750 mL) bottle of sparkling wine (optional)
  • Orange and lime slices to garnish.

Directions: Combine the juices and rum and mix in a large pitcher. Serve by pouring into ice-filled glasses and topping with sparkling wine and fruit slices. Recipe found via My Recipes.
