Jim Beam Announces First-Ever Packaging Redesign 

For the first time, top bourbon brand Jim Beam will be making significant changes with an all-new global packaging redesign. The upgrade comes two years after the global marketing campaign “Make History” which traced the company’s roots back to 1795. The redesign aims to honor this history while still updating and contemporizing the brand. Packaging updates will include a new premium bottle structure, all new labels with real gold foil and matte finishes, and unique bottle closures for the premium line. The upgraded packaging will be available on shelves all over the US by August. Fred Noe, 7th generation Master Distiller and Jim Beam’s Great-Grandson notes “This represents another historic milestone in my family’s history. I’ve always been proud to see the faces of every Beam Master Distiller displayed on Jim Beam bottles around the world. These bottles feel even better in my hands when I pour the world’s finest bourbon.”

Bacardi Introduces Grapefruit and Raspberry Flavored Rums

Get those fruity summer cocktail recipes ready. Bacardi recently unveiled it’s plan to debut two new flavors, Grapefruit and Raspberry, to it’s collection of flavored rums as a kick-off to the summer season. Bacardi Grapefruit is a white rum infused with pink grapefruit flavors to create a sour and semi-sweet taste. Bacardi raspberry is infused with citrus raspberry flavors to create a mouth watering mix of sweet and tart. The new flavors will also be highlighted in signature punch cocktail recipes, making cocktail parties a breeze. Both flavors will be sold in 750lm sizes in addition to 50ml, 200ml, 375ml, 1L, and 1.75L sizes.

Diageo Introduces “Red, White, and Berry” Vodka

As we get closer to the 4th of July and Presidential voting season, patriotism is gearing up and Diageo is joining in. The Smirnoff brand is releasing their newest flavor, “Red, White, and Berry” to celebrate the season. This limited edition vodka is a mix of cherry, citrus, and blue raspberry flavors and can be enjoyed through a shot or in a fun seasonal cocktail. VP of Marketing Jay Sethi said “From Memorial Day to Independence Day and beyond, there are so many opportunities during the summer months to celebrate American pride and inclusivity.” The new flavor is 30 percent alcohol by volume and is available in a 750ml bottle.

Tequila Avion Inspired Consumers with New Motto 

Inspired by Avion’s elevated birthplace (at ,000 fet above sea level), tequila Avion announces the launch of their new brand platform Yo/Elevado, which encourages tequila drinkers to elevate their spirit choices and lives. The new campaign “tequila Elevado a un Arte” explores what happens when one stops worrying about time and efficiency and strives to elevate tequila to an art. The slow process in which Tequila Avion is made, diligently and time consuming, is a process that the brand is comparing to an art. Founder Ken Austin says “We set out to create tequila that celebrates the rich flavor of the Jesus Maria agave. We refused to cut any corners to implement processes that sacrificed the rich flavor. The meticulously inefficient process resulted in Avion Silver being voted “World’s Best Tasting Tequila” at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.” The campaign is on it’s way to the public through a mix of traditional media, digital and social media, and a short film, all throughout 2016.
