We’ve seen it time and time again: a celebrity or former pro athlete gets bored and decides to venture into the alcohol industry. Usually, they slap their name on a bottle of liquor and call it a day. But this time, we’ve come across a different situation.

Remember Drew Bledsoe? The New England Patriots’ star quarterback who got injured and made way for Tom Brady to steal the spotlight? Yea? Well, since he realized that his time with the pigskin was over, he’s ventured into the vineyard.

In his native town of Walla Walla, WA, Bledsoe now makes his own wine called Doubleback. But this isn’t your ordinary, everyday wine—Wine Spectator ranked Bledsoe’s Cabernet Sauvignon as one of the 100 Best Wines in America.

Doubleback has received some attention recently, and was featured on ESPN by Rick Reilly. Among many Bledsoe fans that tuned into this piece was none other than the King, Lebron James. Feeling oh so inspired after learning about the QB’s wine, James took to twitter—sounding like a 61 year old grandma if we might add—to ask for some.

Well, I guess all we can say is nice try Lebron, nice try.
