We’re not the type of people who need a reason to drink. If we’re breathing that’s reason enough. But for those who need more, here you go:
1. Trading: The MLB trade deadline struck yesterday at 4 pm, and boy, did some teams go crazy. With players being thrown coast to coast, we’re looking for an anxiety-free time this weekend.
2. Fifty-Three: On Monday, El Presidente Barack Obama will celebrate his birth. We don’t know what he’ll be drinking, but you can count on us pouring out the shots in his honor.
3. Egotism: Last weekend, J-Lo celebrated her birthday with this cake. This weekend, you say eff that and celebrate with a beer.
4. Hair: Lorde’s back in action. The curly haired singing princess will not only provide the single for the Hunger Games: Mockingjay, but she is also curating the whole soundtrack. May the odds, and the booze, be ever in her favor.
5. Siblings: If you haven’t seen this, you must. Take some time to toast with your siblings this weekend and celebrate the years you have left.
